Elim Park has made its home in the town of Cheshire, CT, since 1959 and it has had an exceptional relationship with the town and its residents. Some of the many ways in which Elim Park and the Cheshire community work together:
- Elim Park invites local residents to its Christmas Festival, as well as to other cultural, educational and entertainment programs
- Elim Park residents participate in the Cheshire Food Bank drives
- Elim Park is a major employer and member of the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce
- Elim Park supports the Cheshire Police and Fire Departments
- Elim Park works with Quinnipiac University in training of healthcare workers and participates in Career Fairs at Cheshire High School and Dodd Junior High
- Elim Park has dedicated 11 acres of its property as a wildlife sanctuary
- Elim Park cares for Cheshire residents in its rehabilitation and physical therapy units
- Elim Park opens its doors to retired local pastors and to non-profit community groups as a meeting place
