Endowing the ArtsAnyone who has come to Nelson Hall to enjoy the true delights of choral or chamber music, renowned dance troops, or guest speakers has probably considered what this new addition to the greater Cheshire community really means. Nelson Hall is the result of the successful Celebrate Life! Capital Campaign. Today, everything about this performing arts center is new: from the furnishings to the performances themselves. While we experience this great opportunity in all its splendor, we must prepare to continue to provide for new experiences in the same pristine arena we enjoy today.
Elim Park has created an opportunity for everyone who cares for the arts and their role in our community to support our efforts in Nelson Hall with our Endow the Arts Fund. This fund will provide sustaining support for all events hosted in Nelson Hall, including the Premiere Entertainment Series, as well as the dozens of other annual programs offered. In addition, the Fund will ensure that Nelson Hall retains its magnificent appeal, season after season. Please show your support by giving generously to Endow the Arts at Elim Park. Nelson Hall hosts performances to the delight of up to 350 attendees, This highly flexible space provides for a variety of engagements including touring cultural productions and guest speakers. Gently sloping seating offers excellent views for all audience members. Modern sound and lighting systems enhance each performance. A fully restored pipe organ, new concert grand piano and stained-glass windows highlight the atmosphere, making the center a great place to enjoy everything from chamber music and church choirs. As we enjoy the blessings of Nelson Hall, please consider making a “Chairitable” gift to ensure the quality and variety of performances endure. Each $5,000 of your commitment can be recognized on our Celebration Tree as an endower for one of our 350 new theater seats. Your seat of honor awaits at Nelson Hall.
