Elim Park in the Community

Elim Park has made its home in the town of Cheshire, CT, since 1959 and has had an exceptional relationship with the town and its residents. Among the many ways in which Elim Park and the Cheshire community work together:

  • Police and Fire Departments  - We actively support the Cheshire Police and Fire Departments
  • Local University - Elim Park works directly with Quinnipiac University in the training of healthcare workers
  • Career and Job Fairs - We participate in Career Fairs at Cheshire High School and Dodd Junior High
  • Wildlife Sanctuary and Environmental Preservation - Elim Park has dedicated eleven acres of its property as a wildlife sanctuary
  • Community healthcare needs - Our post-acute care, rehabilitation and therapy center is available to Cheshire residents for their healthcare needs
  • Community meetings - We opens our doors to retired local pastors and to non-profit community groups and provide meeting places as needed
