Where Family, Faith & Senior Care Meet

At Elim Park, we are not merely looking to hire employees, but to inspire people. When you walk through our doors, you’re not coming to just another job interview. We believe that God brings us the right people at the right time. Together we create a warm, fun, and safe environment for the seniors we serve in our Life Plan Community (also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community CCRC).

Nestled on 41 acres in beautiful Cheshire, Elim Park includes seven Independent Living neighborhoods, an acclaimed Nelson Hall Theatre, a spacious Fitness & Wellness Center, and three unique restaurants. Also on our campus is the Elim Park Health Care Center offering post-acute in-patient and outpatient rehabilitation, a Long-Term Care residence, and a licensed Residential Care Home.

Protecting our Elim Park Family Through Covid-19

The safety of our residents, patients, and team members is our number one priority. Elim Park prepared long before COVID-19 hit Connecticut. When it struck, we spared no expense in acquiring and maintaining an abundant supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and implemented very stringent infection control protocols that are still in effect today. Working closely with our local health department and following all Centers for Disease Prevention guidelines, we remain focused on keeping our Elim Park family safe and healthy.

Why Work at Elim Park?

Become Part of Our Bright Future Ahead!

Elim Park is more than just a typical Senior Living community. Our long history and reputation for excellence in the senior living field provides a strong financial foundation that offers job stability, career development, and exciting new opportunities to come!

A Family Atmosphere Where Everybody Knows Your Name

At Elim Park, we’ve certainly grown over the years but have never lost our small family feel. Working at Elim Park offers the opportunity to build lasting friendships with residents, as well as fellow employees. Elim Park also provides many ways for employee family members to enjoy our campus with youth volunteer opportunities, a summer Children’s Theatre camp, entertainment at Nelson Hall Theatre, family movie nights, and more!

Rooted in Faith. Open to All.

“And they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.”  Exodus 15:27

Elim is not simply a name. It is a calling. In 1906, Swedish immigrants who founded churches and Sunday schools also yearned for a place of rest – a summer vacation spot. This place of rest began as a 12-room farmhouse in Shelton, CT, with one bathroom on an 80-acre farm amidst chestnut trees and a well by a flowing river that eventually became a “Home for the Aged.”

From these humble beginnings, a new Elim Park was built in Cheshire in 1958 and has grown into something that these founders never in their wildest dreams could have imagined. Proud of the unmatched services and amenities we provide to today’s seniors – our mission and purpose remain steadfastly the same – to Honor God in all we do.

To this goal, we provide on-campus ministry and prayer available to all residents and staff:

  • Full-time Director of Christian Ministries On-staff
  • Prayer with Staff (Our leadership team is very honored by staff requests to pray with them)
  • Prayer Room On-campus

  • Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance
