Current Covid-19 Guidelines:

Updated Mask Policy – as of May 20, 2022

As a result of continued uptick in COVID-19 cases nationally and locally, we are amending our mask policy for residents, staff and visitors as follows:

Independent Living (Elim Park Place) – Masking is encouraged for residents.  Staff and visitors are required to wear a mask until further notice. Please continue to practice social distancing and wear your mask if maintaining distance is not possible. Please have a mask with you at all times.

ALSA (Assisted Living) – All staff and outside agencies, when caring for a resident in their apartment, are required to wear masks and follow DPH and CDC guidelines.

Health Care Center – No change. Masks must be worn as we are required to follow DPH and CDC guidelines which have not changed for Health Care facilities.

We will continue to watch and react to COVID positivity rates within Elim Park and around our local community and adjust our policy as necessary.

As we reopen our community and begin our new normal, we do so with the conviction that we are better, stronger and closer as a result of the challenges we faced together.  Our Annual Report provides a glimpse into this unprecedented journey. (Click on the image below to read this publication.)  We extend our heartfelt thanks to the residents and their families for their trust in us during this extraordinary time.  And now, as we take these much welcomed steps ahead in our community and across Connecticut, we look forward to a bright future at Elim Park!
