Hope is HERE!

Yesterday was a day of celebration.  A day of history and hope that will forever be marked in our memory.  As the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine arrived early Thursday morning in the competent arms of the Walgreens team, an emotional sigh of relief swelled up in each of us.  Finally, on this momentous and long awaited day, we took a crucial step forward in stopping this virulent enemy.

The first vaccine clinic was a resounding success!  I am extremely pleased to share that a total of 634 people within our Elim Park family have received the vaccine.

The Walgreens pharmacy team was well organized and the entire vaccination process from start to finish went extremely well. Cheshire Town Manager, Sean Kimball and Chesprocott Health Director, Maura Esposito were with us as the first vaccinations were underway. I would like to recognize their ongoing collaboration and support to our Elim Park community throughout this journey, as well as thank our amazing Elim Park residents and staff for pledging their commitment in this lifesaving initiative.  Congratulations to all!

The first resident to be vaccinated at Elim Park was Health Care resident Helen Taylor!  Way to go Helen!
