Ways to Give

About Us

At Elim Park, we believe in a culture of philanthropy. The extraordinary generosity and commitment of our many friends and residents ensure the Elim Park standard of excellence for years to come. Thank you for considering a gift to Elim Park. If you have any questions or would like more information on giving opportunities, please contact Jennifer McHale, Director of Development at (203) 272-3547 x 172.

Mind, Body, & Spirit Campaign

Through prayer, we can strengthen our spirit, as well as our mind and body. And when we pray together, we are even stronger. Our new Prayer Chapel at Elim Park represents this special community’s past, present, and future, providing a quiet place of comfort for people of all faiths in their time of need. Your financial gift will help continue Elim Park’s legacy of faith as we serve others in a Christ-centered environment.

“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”  Matthew 6:6

Your donation will help fund our new Prayer Chapel, which is currently under construction!

The Elim Park Foundation

The Elim Park Foundation supports the mission and vision of Elim Park Baptist Home and was established in 2009 as a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization run exclusively for charitable and religious purposes.  The Foundation furthers the welfare, programs, and activities of Elim Park through efforts to secure, distribute, and administer various charitable contributions.  The Foundation adheres to organizational guidelines and specific needs as identified by the Board of Directors and our donors.

*Your donation will to help fund areas of greatest need such as capital improvements, technology upgrades, and more.

You can designate your gift to an area of interest from one or more of the options below:

Chaplain Support Fund

Do you have a heart for those who have dedicated their lives to serving God and His people? The Mary Melby Fund assists retired pastors, chaplains and missionaries who have served the Baptist General Conference with housing expenses and allows them to reside and continue their ministry here at Elim Park. The fund honors the name of Mary Melby, Elim Park’s first superintendent, a dedicated missionary and servant of God, and it helps and honors others who serve God.

Employee Emergency Fund

The staff at Elim Park plays a huge part in the success of the community, and it is our pleasure to support them when they need it most. This fund was created to help Elim Park Employees who are facing financial hardship immediately after a natural disaster or an unforeseen personal hardship.  Every contribution helps. The combined force of many small gifts makes a great difference and can provide the help a person needs when facing the unexpected.

Memorial Gifts

Celebrate a significant occasion, remember a loved one, commemorate a milestone or recognize someone special with an honorary or memorial gift in their name to the Elim Park Memorial Fund. Your donation honors your friends or loved ones and helps sustain our community. We gratefully acknowledge your thoughtful donation by notifying the person or family member you designate with a beautiful acknowledgment card and no gift amount is disclosed.

Resident Benevolent Fund

When people move into Elim Park Place, we promise them a home for life. This fund helps Elim Park Place residents who find themselves in financial need to continue to live independently in their apartments.  The Resident Benevolence Fund is an endowment supported primarily by residents of Elim Park, their families, and friends.  Applications to benefit from the fund are subject to Residents’ Benevolence Fund committee approval.
